VOLUME ANALYSIS

The inherent quality of the DTM (Digital Terrain Model) allows for precise volumetric analysis using LSS software from McCarthy Taylor. This system is widely accepted as the benchmark against which all other systems are measured.

Volumes can be calculated with reference to a datum, model to model, cut, fill as well as slope and horizontal area analysis. This can all be performed using unique "surface coding" across the model which allows for detailed design whether from the design model, original ground levels (ogl) or as-built survey.

Cross and long sections can be generated simultaneously from the model to represent the calculations in a more traditional way.
