ELEVATIONS

Building elevations are required for many applications including detailed and outline planning, refurbishment, alterations, extensions, historical record and often for Rights of Light.

In all but the smallest of buildings it is hard for us not to justify the use of our High Definition Laser Scanner (HDS) for the capture of building elevations. It captures a site in so much detail and so quickly in a system that is driven by a photographic user interface (You can see what you have captured), that from a Quality perspective alone it wins hands down. It is then our CAD Office team who extract detailed CAD drawings from the resultant point cloud.

The benefit of having used this technology is that the scan data can also be delivered in a 360 degree view not disimilar to the 3d viewers often seen on residential agents websites. The huge difference is that because our spatial scan data sits behind the image you can interrogate any distance or coordinate on the photo.
